Description

Set among the concrete jungle of Kensington’s Ministry of Housing high-rise apartments is the latest AMES social enterprise venture, Fifty-Six Threads.
Named after its position in Derby Street, with ‘threads’ representing the cultural and social fabric that makes up the neighbourhood. This cheerful, contemporary café offers all your morning coffee, breaky and lunch faves in a wood-panelled and affable environment.

The Social Roasting Company coffee beans are expertly brewed and the warm fuzzy feelings from getting behind local communities and providing training and employment opportunities for new migrants, comes free of charge.
