If you like Indian food or if you haven’t had Indian food before then this is the place to go for. The food is cooked the way Indians would want to eat it. Authentic, tasty and flavoured with true spices to come up with original and unique dishes that come from the street eateries of Indian Highways. The service is prompt and efficient with staff dressed in bright Punjabi apparel. Staff are attentive and interested in what you would like to eat, rather than pushing things down your throat. The walls of the dining room are decked with extensions of countryside huts and there are funny captions on them which come from the Indian truck drivers.

Desi Dhaba is fully licensed till 1am with a nice long bar serving a range of Indian beers and spirits, besides serving a good range of Aussie beers, spirits and wines. You can BYO wine if you like too. There is Bollywood on Big LCD screens with fantastic music, and on Friday or Saturday nights there is plenty of music and dance going on with typical INDI POP fusion from the In-house DJ.

We also serve Indian breakfast which you wont get anywhere else. On the weekends we do hawker style Indo Tibetan food, Chaat House besides the regular menu. Above all its cheap - you can eat to your fill for as low as $7.
