Description
In the 1950s, the Amiconi family opened a small eatery in West Melbourne. They wanted to introduce their home cooking style to the locals, who in those days were the ‘bohemians’ of North and West Melbourne - mostly university students and their professors.
The flavours were simple and very labour intensive as everything was cooked as if they were cooking for their own family. They always prepared their food with patience and ‘from the heart’ - and it still is. Specialities include garlic mushrooms, calamari, and Southern Italian cuisine. Fully licensed.
