The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant is the first travelling tram restaurant in the world and makes for a unique and memorable experience. Glide along the scenic streets of Melbourne and enjoy a seasonally-selected menu, fine Australian wine, and beverages from our fully-stocked bar.

 

Tramcars are air conditioned and heated. There is a smart casual dress code. Bookings are required.

 


Location

The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant departs from and returns to Tramstop # 125 Normanby Road, near the corner of Clarendon Street, South Melbourne. 

 

Located diagonally across the road from Crown Casino and adjacent to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

* Early dinner 5.45pm to 7.15pm

All prices quoted include beverages from a fully stocked bar.

 

Capacity

108 passengers. Our fleet consists of 3 travelling Tramcar Restaurants with a maximum seat capacity of 36 passengers on each. There is a section of 24 and of 12 on each Tramcar.
Each section has booths for 4 people and 2 people.

 

Accessibility

Due to sizing restrictions we are unable to board wheelchairs and walking frames onto the tram. We can provide secure storage for your wheelchair for the duration of the trip. Please contact our friendly Reservations consultants to discuss your requirements.
