Getting around by foot

Melbourne is a picturesque city, with parks and gardens, hidden laneways, beautiful buildings and more to explore. What better way to take it all in than on foot? Across the city, signposted jogging and walking tracks guide you through some of Melbourne’s most picture-perfect paths, parks and gardens.

You can also join the joggers around the famous ‘Tan’, the path surrounding the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, or take a self-guided tour strolling through the Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens.  For a waterfront experience walk along the Yarra River from the Swan Street Bridge towards the city, as far as Crown Entertainment Complex.
