Galleries

For an arresting visual experience, put yourself in the picture at Melbourne’s commercial, public and artist run galleries – scattered throughout town or framed along Flinders Lane, one of Australia’s most popular visual art destinations.

Diverse in both content and scale, galleries in Melbourne offer art that’s international and indigenous, contemporary and classic and by established and emerging artists.

They range from NGV International and Craft Victoria, to smaller venues that invite discovery of the city’s laneways and warehouses such as Platform2 and Bus Gallery.
