Established in 1995 by internationally recognised jeweller Mari Funaki, Gallery Funaki represents both local and international jewellers. The gallery is situated in the central business district of Melbourne and is recognised as a driving force in the promotion of contemporary jewellery in Australia.
The gallery organises 5 to 6 solo and group exhibitions each year. The artists represented are selected on the basis of their personal, sensitive approach to making. This approach is apparent through their careful selection of materials and the skilful, appropriate use of these in line with a clear concept.
