Description

Fast-becoming a cultural icon for Melbourne, the Koorie Heritage Trust Cultural Centre hosts more than 20,000 artefacts, books, artworks and photographs, an interactive sound and visual permanent exhibition tracing the history of the Koorie people from 60,000 years ago to contemporary issues.

There are a range of exciting tours on offer with an Aboriginal guide that will provide a personalised and powerful insight into the fascinating Koorie culture.

The Cultural Centre also houses an Oral History service for recording stories of the past to be shared with future generations and a Family History Service that links members of the Stolen Generations with their families and a resource library.
