The Craft Victoria shop showcases the best of Australian contemporary craft and design: exceptional art objects and limited edition ceramics, textiles, jewellery and glass made by emerging and established designer/makers. Services include corporate gifts, a wedding registry, commissions and design consultations.
Craft Victoria is the peak organisation for contemporary craft and design. We promote excellence and innovation at a local, national and international level through exhibitions, public programs and commercial opportunities. Our gallery features exhibitions throughout the year, focusing on experimental, skilled and ideas-based craft and design practice.
Craft Victoria partners with the City of Melbourne's City Library to hold Craft Hatch – an incubator market that showcases the work of student and emerging designers. This is an opportunity to purchase hand-made products direct from the designer; including homewares, jewellery, clothing, accessories and stationery. Craft Hatch markets are held on the second Saturday of every month, 11am-4pm, at City Library Gallery, Level 1, 253 Flinders Lane. You can also see the best of current craft and design works in our window space at 31 Flinders Lane.
