Description

The Shrine of Remembrance is a Melbourne icon and Victoria's premier memorial to those who have served the nation in armed conflicts and peacekeeping operations. Dedicated in 1934 to commemorate First World War veterans, the Shrine features additional monuments, such as the Second World War Memorial and other monuments around the reserve.

Guided Tours daily at 11am and 2pm. Remembrance Ceremonies are every half hour. Changing exhibitions are featured in the Visitor Centre. The ANZAC day dawn service is held at the shrine each year.
