Description

Southern Cross Lane is the newest lane in Melbourne's CBD, however the site is rich in historical value. It can claim landmark status from the early days of 1962 when the site was a fashionable hotel, with royal attendances and famous celebrities (Beatles being the most well known appearance) all descending upon the Southern Cross Hotel.

Almost 50 years on and the site has been redeveloped for the 21st century, with two large modern commercial towers and a ground level of retail tenancies.
