The Crown Entertainment Complex is one of the world’s largest entertainment complexes of its kind (covering two city blocks) and is a popular Melbourne tourist destination.
In a city renowned for its cuisine, Crown offers some of Melbourne’s finest, with a wide variety of dining options at restaurants and cafés, There are also several bars, nightclubs, a cinema complex and electronic games arcade.
The Palladium at Crown is Melbourne's grandest ballroom, with a seating capacity of 1,700. It has played host to some of Australia's premier functions including the annual Brownlow Medal.
The Palms at Crown is a multi-tiered auditorium offering shows with class performers: musicians, comedians and cabaret.
Three hotel properties (Crown Towers, Crown Promenade and Crown Metropol) operate onsite, together with a casino (neat casual dress required). Children under 18 are permitted into the entertainment section of complex, but not into the gaming area or areas serving alcohol.
At the Crown complex there are extensive facilities for guests with disabilities.
Crown is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day, Crown is closed from 4am and re opens at noon.
