Kids in Berlin provides Melbourne with some of the most original design and street wear fashion. It stocks over 80 Independent Australian Designers – mens, womens and kids clothing (special focus on limited edition T-shirts), bags, jewellery, art, writing and graphic novels and toys.
It isn't a kids shop (although it has some toys and kids clothes) and although inspired by the edginess of Berlin its goodies are Australian made. Labels include Artechoke, Chip Chop, Bul, Claude Maus, Fool, Flux, Hamb, Lenko, Limedrop, Love, maru, Pigeon Combine, Who Am Eye and Young Lovers.
Definitely worth a visit and you may be lucky and catch a window installation by a young designer.
