 The Echo Chamber

Image1

Description

'You are always right. Your political opinions are spot-on. You're strong. That new haircut looks amazing. I completely agree. I love you.'

The Echo Chamber is the debut festival show from Paul Richards (UK), a regular in Melbourne-based improv ensemble, The Big HOO-HAA!

This is stand-up with a difference. Landing somewhere in between a Dave Gorman/Ricky Gervais 'lecture' and a John Oliver/Trevor Noah topical satire, Paul will throw a selection of current affairs to that night's wonderful, super-intelligent audience, in order to decide how the show will move forward.

Underpinned with a heavy dose of politics and modern culture, 'The Echo Chamber' explores the influences of social media and peer pressure on our everyday lives and opinions. There's also a good chance of wry observation, gratuitous swearing and good old-fashioned British sarcasm.

Part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
