As a major sponsor of the 2012 Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, the Victorian Government is proud to be the presenting partner for a series of Business Breakfast Seminars and the Domestic Buying Program.
Targeted at local industry, the series of business seminars feature international and local speakers who share their insights into the industry and explore best practice. The Domestic Buying Program, now in its second year, showcases and promotes Melbourne’s fashion and design talent as well as connecting regional retailers with leading retailers, established successful designers, media and buyers.
Our support for the event is to further business outcomes, particularly for small and medium sized businesses, through developing opportunities for retailers, brand managers, marketers, designers and creative business leaders to participate, learn and engage.
These initiatives not only build on Melbourne’s reputation as a retail and fashion hub, but also stimulate investment, business development and employment in Victoria.
