In 2012 NGV Kids Corner will transform into a time capsule with the launch of Time Catcher.
Exploring how art has been used to interpret key moments in time, Time Catcher will highlight how the past influences the present.
Visitors will be able to see the extraordinary designs on a 14th century vase reproduced in a bust created over 600 years later.
Incorporating a range of hands on and multimedia experiences, children and their families will be able to trace time through art and see firsthand how the creation of artworks have informed their understanding of the past, present and the future.
