For the Kids

Melbourne is a wonderland for children, a city that’s filled with tailor-made events and activities for kids that delight, excite and educate.

There’s the magical Melbourne Aquarium, where sharks swim overhead in a giant glass tunnel, Melbourne Zoo’s new orang-utan sanctuary and the Melbourne Museum – home to a full-size blue whale skeleton.

ArtPlay at Birrarung Marr runs a range of art-inspired activities for kids, including music, storytelling and craft. At Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, a bamboo forest, plant tunnel and more await exploration at the Ian Potter Foundation Children’s Garden.
