Cultural

While much of Melbourne could be seen as a cultural casserole ready for consumption, there are some designated districts where speaking an everyday language other than English is more commonplace than you’d think.

The by-product of Australia’s proud immigrant history, these multicultural neighbourhoods will send you on an ethnic adventure without requiring a passport or travel shots. Quite simply, it’s the cheapest way to travel.

You may know it as: Lygon Street, the Greek Precinct and Chinatown.
