School holidays 

Keep the kids from climbing up the walls during the school holidays. It’s easy to find ways to energise and entertain the whole family, no matter your interests or budget, there's always heaps happening in the city.

 

The next school holidays are from 30 June to 15 July, so check back nearer to the time for details of holiday activities. In the meantime, you can check what's on for the kids right now.

 

There are also many free activities in the city, though not all are suitable for children.

 ‭(Hidden)‬ Getting to the city is easy

Melbourne has a great network of trains, trams and buses. Plan your journey at Public Transport Victoria. It is also a cycle-friendly city, with many dedicated bike tracks. If you choose to drive, parking is available.

 

Once here, the free Melbourne Tourist Shuttle bus and free City Circle tram will take you to many of the city’s attractions.
