Description
The hugely popular Herald Sun and CityLink Run for the Kids is returning for its 7th year and entries, which are now open, are expected to fly out the door faster than ever.
Reaching capacity in its past two editions, Victoria’s biggest fun run will again see over 30,000 people form a sea of colour through the streets of Melbourne raising money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Entries are available online, visit www.runforthekids.com.au.
Set for Sunday, 1 April, the event will offer two courses: a 14.38km super course through the Domain Tunnel and over the Bolte Bridge, and the 5.2km family-friendly course around the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Every entry raises money for the Royal Children’s Hospital with $29 of every $50 long course entry and $27 of every $45 short course entry donated directly to the Appeal. Entrants also have the opportunity to raise even more funds through the Everyday Hero program.
Every entry goes into the draw to win a Mazda2.
