Melbourne Conversations

Getting Melbourne talking – a series of free public discussions presented by the City of Melbourne

Ever wanted to hear more on a particular issue or have your say? Melbourne Conversations is a series of free discussions in the city exploring issues and topics that make Melbourne – and Melburnians – tick.

Developed by the City of Melbourne, Melbourne Conversations aims to take current issues of social, political or cultural importance to Melbourne. Public discussion is led by acclaimed local guest speakers, followed by an audience question and answer session to have your say.

The talks provide information, engagement and entertainment through popular themes relevant to Melbourne and its city community.

Melbourne Conversation events usually take place at BMW Edge at Federation Square, Melbourne Town Hall or at other city-based venues.

Melbourne Conversations now film their events. Check out the latest footage on Youtube.
