The fourth annual Melbourne Knowledge Week is being held from Monday 28 October to Sunday 3 November 2013.
Melbourne Knowledge Week (MKW) is an initiative of the City of Melbourne and forms an integral part of the Knowledge Melbourne program of activities.
MKW provides a platform to showcase Melbourne's strengths in the knowledge sector, particularly in the areas of higher education and research, the creative industries (especially design), biotechnology, advanced manufacturing, and information and communication technology (ICT).
MKW aims to make knowledge accessible and fun, showcase innovative knowledge-related projects to locals and visitors alike, and encourage public debates about what it means to be a ‘knowledge city’.
Information about MKW 2013 events will be listed here from August 2013.
MKW expression of interest
Each year the City of Melbourne invites organisations and individuals to submit an expression of interest (EOI) to participate in Melbourne Knowledge Week. The EOI process is now closed for Melbourne Knowledge Week 2013.
Melbourne Knowledge Week 2012
The third annual Melbourne Knowledge Week took place from 26 November to 1 December 2012. Over 40 public and industry events took place during the week. Download the Knowledge Week program guide (PDF, 6MB) or view images from 2012 events.
