Public transport 

Melbourne's public transport is the easiest and best way to get around the city.

Metcards include the City Saver Metcard, offering a single journey between any two stations, and the Sunday Saver, which allows unlimited travel across Zones 1 and 2 on Sundays for only $2.90.

You can also save on the weekend with the 5 x Weekend Daily ticket. Designed to provide you with five days of Saturday or Sunday travel for only $2.90 per day. Buy a ticket for $14.50 for a more flexible way to travel.

Purchase your Metcard tickets online with free delivery; retail outlets displaying the blue Metcard sign; the MetShop at Melbourne Town Hall; on public transport services or by calling the Metcard helpline on 1800 652 313.

There’s also the City Circle Tram and Melbourne City Tourist Shuttle Bus to get you around to all the city’s major attractions for free.
